Scouts - Sydney Vivid Visit
Event information

Yo Scouts,
Change of plans… and this one is BIG.
We’re heading into the city for a super exciting Vivid Sydney adventure!
This year’s Vivid is packed with massive light installations, laser projections, interactive displays and an epic drone show over Darling Harbour. During the evening, Scouts will explore the city in Patrols, navigating between some of Sydney’s best Vivid locations while taking on mini challenges, photo missions and teamwork tasks along the way.
Patrols will have opportunities to explore the Vivid Light Walk, discover hidden installations, complete challenge checkpoints, grab dinner together and experience the incredible atmosphere of Sydney at night.
The activity is designed to give Scouts a fun night of independence, adventure and exploration while practising teamwork, navigation and decision-making skills in a busy real-world environment. Leaders will be roaming between Patrols throughout the night to supervise and support where needed.
If they wish, with a bit of extra work at home, the Scouts can convert this visit into a STEM, Arts or Community related Special Interest Area badge. Also Note: The Scouts Orienteering night that was to be running on the 11 June has now been moved to 25 June.
This activity will proceed even in wet weather, so Scouts should come prepared for the conditions.
We look forward to seeing everyone there for an awesome night of lights, adventure and city exploration!
