We need your help to bake some delicious and attractive treats (cup cakes, biscuits, slice, etc) for our Cake Stall being held in the lobby of Bunnings Rydalmere on 15 November 2026. We also need your Registration ASAP so we can starting organising the roster.

All members will be provided with a box of cake mix (similar to what you will find in the supermarket). You just need to supply the extra ingredients; usually common ingredients like butter, milk or egg. All members are invited to bake their own creations (Joeys/Cubs might need parental help) and then decorate to your hearts content. Package your creations into a labelled cake container (please label your lid too), then bring to the hall on the evening of 14 November (between 6-7PM) or directly to the Cake Stall on 15 November (between 8-9AM).

Members will attend the Cake Stall (in Uniform or Activity shirt) on 15 November to sell the delicious treats to the public. A roster will be arranged in the week of the Stall so that there are sufficient people in attendance for the duration of the day. Youth members love running the Cake Stall and will of course get to pick a treat to take away from their shift. We will need an adult or two to be available at all times to provide help where necessary.

Baking:

• Cake mix packs will be handed out at Section meetings. Please collect yours.
• We’re looking for creative, colourful, delicious, mouth watering, soul melting  cup cakes, slices and cookies!
• Standard cup cake size (12 per batch) – no minis please, it messes up pricing.
• Cookies about the size of an egg ring before baking – no minis or giants please, it messes up pricing.
• No general ingredient label needed, but please label container of any special dietary treats if created (eg. Gluten free, etc).
• Feel free to bake extra — the more we have, the more we sell!

Drop-off:

Baked goods can be dropped off:

• Saturday night at the hall (6:00–7:00 pm), or
• Sunday morning at Bunnings Rydalmere (8:00–9:00 am)

Please label trays and containers for return to you.
If you have any Cupcake stands please label and bring them to help show off the creations.

Uniform:

Scouts and Vennies should wear full uniform or 1st Ermington Activity Shirt, closed-in shoes, and bring a water bottle.
