We will be meeting at Winjoy Reserve Rydalmere - 1A Calder Rd Rydalmere (near the light rail station) at 8.00am. We will be leaving the park by 8.15 am where we will walk to the start of the Ponds Walk on Crowgey Street (a short distance away). We will walk along the Ponds Walk track ending at Dundas Park - corner of Yates Avenue and Quarry Road Dundas Valley.

We will stop at Marri Badoo Reserve along the way, were the playground has just been updated. We may see some local birds and possibly a water dragon. There are a couple of creek crossings. 

We will be meeting other Joeys from Parramatta District at Dundas Park at 10.30am for morning tea. The activity will end at 11.30am. Please note that the water playground (Philip Ruddock Water Playground) is in operation and it is possible that your Joey may be wet when you come and collect them, so you might need to bring a towel. 

The walk will be approximately 4.7kms and will be added to your walk log in Terrain. We may also review aspects of Bushwalking Stage 1. We have scheduled in times for stops during the walk.

Wear uniform with scarf neatly rolled or Ermington activity shirt. You must wear closed in shoes (e.g. runners - no open toed shoes, thongs, Crocs etc). In a small backpack which each Joey will need to carry, pack a raincoat (if it looks like showers), a water bottle, and morning tea. Bring sunscreen, insect repellent (roll on please), and wear a hat. 

In the event of heavy rain the activity will be cancelled.
