Participants will meet at the Scout Hall at 7:30 AM before travelling by carpool to the starting point at Curra Moors Carpark. Parents are required to assist with transport to and from the activity where possible.
The hike will take place within Royal National Park and will include bushwalking through scenic coastal and bushland tracks. Participants should be prepared for a full day of walking and outdoor activity.
We expect to return to the Scout Hall at approximately 3:00 PM, depending on traffic and hiking conditions. Updates will be provided via WhatsApp or SMS if required.
Cost
No activity fee applies.
Participants should bring their own food, water, and day hiking equipment.
Brief Activity Overview
This activity is a day hike as part of Tara’s Grey Wolf Award journey. The walk will provide Cubs with an opportunity to develop bushwalking skills, teamwork, navigation awareness, resilience, and outdoor confidence while exploring the natural environment of Royal National Park.
Transport
Transport to and from the activity will be by leaders and parent helpers via carpool from the Scout Hall.
