We will be meeting at Rydalmere Wharf and walking down the river to Meadowbank Wharf. We will catch the ferry back to the start point.

We will be completing some Bushwalk Stage 1 activities, stopping in various places and completing a scavenger hunt activity. The walk will be approximately 5.5kms and will be added to your walk log in Terrain.

Wear uniform with scarf neatly rolled or Ermington activity shirt. You must wear closed in shoes (e.g. runners - no open toed shoes, thongs, Crocs etc). In a small backpack which each Joey will need to carry, pack a raincoat (if it looks like showers), a water bottle, morning tea, lunch and an afternoon snack. Bring your Opal card with $10 on the card. Bring sunscreen, insect repellent (roll on please), and wear a hat. Pack a jumper if the weather is cold.

We will be returning to Rydalmere Wharf by the ferry. The end time is an estimate. Parents and families are welcome to join us on the walk.

In the event of heavy rain the activity will be cancelled.
